After almost one year of activities focused on knowledge transfer, technological learning, and the introduction of Tourism 4.0 approaches in Montenegro, the project Provision of Digital Technologies Fostering Tourism 4.0 and Technological Learning in Montenegro is approaching its final phase.
To conclude the activities, a final workshop and closing event titled Digital Heritage Futures: Innovation, Tourism and Storytelling will take place on 2–3 June 2026 in Montenegro.
Final Hands-on Workshop – 2 June 2026
The programme will begin with a practical hands-on workshop on digital heritage documentation and photography. The workshop will include a field session at Žabljak Crnojevića focused on site assessment, digital capture techniques, and practical documentation work, followed by photo editing and data processing activities at the University of Donja Gorica.
Closing Event – 3 June 2026
The closing event will take place at the University of Montenegro – Faculty of Architecture and will feature welcome addresses by institutional representatives and experts, presentations of the key project results, showcases of three selected proposals developed within the Call for Innovative Concepts: Digital Interpretation of Cultural Heritage, and the announcement of the selected winning concept.
The event will conclude with networking opportunities bringing together representatives of public institutions, municipalities, tourism organisations, technology providers, creative industries, academia, and experts working at the intersection of tourism innovation, digital transformation, and cultural heritage preservation.
